The Toronto Maple Leafs' top 2025 draft selection is in line to join the team next season.
Forward Tinus Luc Koblar has signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Leafs, the team announced Monday.
Koblar, 18, was selected by the Leafs 64th overall in the second round of the 2025 draft.
A native of Norway, Koblar spent the 2025-26 season playing with Leksands IF in the Swedish Hockey League. Over 47 games with the senior team, he finished with eight goals and six assists.
The six-foot-two centre represented Norway at the world hockey championship in May, helping the side to its first-ever semifinal appearance, eventually losing to Switzerland.
He led the Norwegians in scoring with six goals and three assists in 10 games and had a two-point game against Canada in the preliminary round.
